This week's guest is Ian Gatt who is Head of Performance Services & Lead Physiotherapist for Great Britain Boxing 🥊🥊🇬🇧 and is part of Team Anthony Joshua 🥊🥊. 

Ian has been a sport physiotherapist for over 15 years, with a considerable period spent managing the medical services for the Great Britain Boxing Program. He has attended all major competitions with boxing supporting elite athletes on their path to success through the London and Rio cycles, and current Tokyo 2020 cycle. Apart from his expertise in boxing injuries in these specific areas, Ian is a consultant with the prestigious English Institute of Sport (EIS) providing an advisory role to both Olympic and Paralympic sports on injury management in these areas.

Ian is also a visiting lecture at University College London (UCL) and is currently undergoing a PhD in wrist Biomechanics at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU). Further he provides regular national and international educational workshops/conferences/webinars specifically on areas linked to the Hand, Wrist and Elbow.
